Brand activations in Romania: visitors play at the stand, and the brand leaves with the contact list
A scoring game, an on-screen vote or an interactive stand, built to order for events in Romania. Every participation is tracked and sent to the brand's CRM.
What a brand gets from an event activation
A brand activation at an event is a stand or an experience where visitors do something: play, vote, try. In return the brand gets contacts, content and numbers.
Contacts
Name and phone or email, only with the consent box ticked, stored with the event, the date and the score. Each contact goes straight into the brand's CRM, not onto a sheet of paper.
Content
Video and photos from the stand, cut for social media, including the moments when someone wins.
Score and leaderboard
A scoreboard on a screen, with prizes for the top players. A score gives people a reason to try once more and to call a friend over to beat it.
Tracking
A QR code on every material and a link with UTM parameters for every location. After the event you get the report: participations, valid contacts, cost per contact and what people did afterwards, in the CRM.
Demo: a scoreboard that works
Play a 10-second round. Your score goes on the leaderboard, and the table under it shows what the brand would receive from each participation.
Tap the lit square as fast as you can. On a real stand screen, a round lasts 60 to 90 seconds.
Leaderboard, rounds from this page only
Play a round to get the first score on the board. If several people share the screen, type a name before each round.
What reaches the brand
The table fills in from the rounds above. The data stays on this page and disappears when you reload.
| Player | Score | Time | Source | Consent |
|---|
0 participations, 0 with contact consent
The game needs JavaScript, which is switched off in your browser. Here is what it does: the player taps the lit square for 10 seconds, the score goes on the leaderboard, and the brand receives a row like the one below.
| Player | Score | Time | Source | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Example | 14 | 12:05:31 | qr-demo | yes |

Brand activation formats for events in Romania
We choose the format by audience and by what the brand wants to learn: contacts, sales or just awareness.
Public vote on a screen
The audience chooses and the percentages climb on the big screen. At Burger Fest, the screen showed a bar and a share of the votes for each burger, under the Tazz logo. The photo is further down, taken during testing.
The format works when the choice is simple and the result is visible from far away: the best product, the best act, which limited edition gets launched.
Scoring game
A short game of 60 to 90 seconds, with a leaderboard on screen and prizes for the day's top players. The game carries the brand's message, not just its logo. A working example is above.
Interactive stand
A screen, an experience or a game at the stand, made for the brand's product. At online conferences the stand is virtual: the 3D lobby we built for a medical conference has doors to the hall and to the stands.

Automations from the stand to the CRM
Automation makes an activation measurable: the visitor scans a code, fills in three fields and ticks the consent box, and the contact moves on by itself.
- Scans the QR codeEvery material has its own code.
- Fills in the formName, contact and a ticked consent box.
- Lands in the CRMWith the event, the score and the source.
- Gets a thank-youAn instant message, only with consent.
- Sales gets the alertFor the contacts that fit.
We work with the CRM the brand already uses. If it has none, contacts go into a spreadsheet. The brand's lawyers validate the consent text.
A real case: for Academia Titi Aur we built several automations, among them an online education platform and booking of experiences directly inside the internal platform. They do not come from an event activation, but they were delivered to a real client.
A robot at the stand: what a Unitree G1 can and cannot do
We are about to get a Unitree G1, a humanoid robot 1.32 m tall. We have not used it at an activation yet, so here is what the manufacturer states and what that means at a stand.
What it can do, per the manufacturer's spec sheet
- It stands and walks on a flat floor. It is 1.32 m tall and weighs about 35 kg with its battery.
- It performs motions prepared in advance, from a wave to a dance. An operator starts them from the hand controller that ships with the robot.
- The arms lift about 2 kg, depending on the pose. The standard version has no fingers. Three-finger hands are an option on the EDU version only.
- It has a depth camera, a 3D LiDAR, four microphones and a 5 W speaker.
- The battery lasts about 2 hours and swaps out quickly.

What it can do at a stand
| A greeting at the stand | The robot stands at the edge of the stand and waves at people passing by.Needs: an operator with a controller, the whole time. Works with the standard version. |
|---|---|
| Photos with visitors | The robot stays in place next to the QR code and people pose with it. It weighs about 35 kg, so we mark out a space around it.Needs: an operator next to the robot and a marked zone. |
| A prepared routine or dance | A ready-made sequence of motions, played several times a day. It does not react to the crowd.Needs: preparation and a rehearsal on the event floor, plus an operator who starts it. |
| Handing out a flyer | The robot holds out a flyer to a visitor. Grip with three fingers is limited.Needs: the EDU version with optional hands, an operator and tests beforehand. We do not promise it until we have tried it. |
| Short lines to visitors | The microphones and the speaker allow short lines. Open conversation needs development work and an internet connection. The speaker is 5 W, so in a loud hall we add a separate one.Needs: separate development and a test in the event hall. We treat it as an option, not a promise. |
What it does not do
- It does not wander through a crowd on its own. At an event, the G1 is driven by an operator, and stairs and uneven ground stay out of the activation.
- It does not run all day without a break. With about 2 hours of battery, we use it in short blocks and swap the battery between them.
- It does not collect contacts. The robot draws people to the stand, and the contact is taken through the QR code and the consent form, as in any activation.
Tell us about your event and we will see whether a robot helps with what you want from it.
The full specifications are with the manufacturer: unitree.com/g1.
What we did, exactly
Two real projects, with our part stated plainly.

- Tazz x Burger Fest, 2022The public voting page, shown on the festival's LED screen. The voting page was our part.
- AGO MediaA 3D virtual lobby for a national medical conference, with entrances to the hall and the stands.
What we can show, and what we cannot yet
We can show these two projects. We have no activation results to publish, meaning scans, contacts or sales. We have not used the robot at an activation yet. The interactive stand and the scoring game are built to order, and the game on this page is a demo, not a delivered project.
How to measure a brand activation: QR, UTM and CRM
An activation is measured from the QR scan to what the person does after the event. Every material has a code and a link with UTM parameters, and contacts reach the CRM with their source.
| Participations | How many rounds, votes or scans took place, by day and by hour. |
|---|---|
| Contacts with consent | How many participations left a valid contact and ticked the consent box. |
| Visits from QR | How many people reached the brand's page from each code, by location and by material. |
| Cost per contact | The cost of the activation divided by valid contacts, not by participations. |
| What happens next | What the contacts do in the CRM: reply, ask for a quote, buy. This number comes after the event, not on the day. |
QR code link generator
A working tool. The link is built on this page and sent nowhere.
Example of a QR code link
The generator needs JavaScript, which is switched off in your browser. This is what a link built from the brand page, event, activation and place looks like:
https://brand.ro/promo?utm_source=summer-festival&utm_medium=qr&utm_campaign=stand-game&utm_content=entrance-stand
The parameters work like this: the source is the event, the medium is qr, the campaign is the activation and the content is the physical spot of the code. If a festival has three codes, at the end you know which stand, which poster and which screen brought people in.
We then tie the link to the contact in the CRM, so a sale can be traced to its source. How we build that: server-side tracking.
How we quote a brand activation
The quote starts from your event, not from a catalog: we learn the audience and the goal, then tell you which format fits and what the offer covers.
You tell us the event
What the event is, who attends, what space you have and what you want from it: contacts, sales or awareness.
We pick the format
A scoring game, an on-screen vote, an interactive stand or a mix, plus what data is collected and with what consent.
You get a written quote
With what is in it: concept, build, automations, report. And what is not, such as the stand fee paid to the organizer.
We build and measure
We test before the event, follow it during the event and send the report afterwards, with the numbers from the CRM.
Tell us about your event and what you want from it. We reply with a format and with what we would measure.
Talk to usAre you an organizer selling sponsor spots?
A brand buys a spot more easily when it can see what it gets: contacts with consent, content, a leaderboard and tracking. The organizers' page shows how the event itself gets promoted, from the first signal to the event day.
What brands ask us
What is a brand activation?
A brand activation is an experience the audience takes part in directly, such as a game, a vote or an interactive stand, set where the people who matter to the brand already are, like a festival or a conference. In return the brand gets contacts, content and numbers, not just visibility.
What is the difference between a brand activation and sponsorship?
Sponsorship buys visibility: a logo, a banner, a mention. An activation creates an experience where the audience does something, and the brand measures what happened. The two often go together: the sponsor pays for the spot, and the activation fills the spot with people and data.
What does a brand get from an activation at an event?
Four things: contacts, only with the consent box ticked and sent to the CRM, content filmed at the stand, a scoreboard with a leaderboard, and tracking through a QR code and UTM parameters. After the event you get a report with participations, valid contacts and cost per contact.
How much does a brand activation cost?
We do not publish prices for activations, because each one starts from the event, the audience and the goal. Ask for a quote: we find out what you want from the event, pick the format, and you get a written quote that says what is in it and what is not. The stand fee paid to the organizer is separate.
How is a brand activation measured?
Every material gets a QR code with a link carrying UTM parameters, so we know which stand, which poster and which screen brought people in. Contacts enter the CRM with their source, and the report after the event ties participations to what people did next.
Do you run activations with a robot at events?
Not yet. We have not used one at an activation, and we are about to get a Unitree G1 humanoid robot. The page above shows what it can do according to the manufacturer and what needs an operator or preparation. If you are interested, tell us about your event and we will see together what fits.
What can a humanoid robot do at a stand?
A Unitree G1 greets people, walks on a flat floor, poses for photos and plays motions or dances prepared in advance, always with an operator next to it. The battery lasts about 2 hours. It does not wander through a crowd on its own and it does not collect contacts: contacts come through the QR code, with the consent box ticked.
How do you collect contacts, with consent?
A contact is collected only with a box ticked by the participant, with the purpose stated briefly next to it. The brand's lawyers validate the consent text, and we build the form and the flow around it.
Can I combine the activation with promoting the event?
Yes. If you are an organizer, promoting the event and selling sponsor spots are planned together, and the organizers' page describes the 8-week calendar. If you are a brand, we can also promote the activation before the event, so people know where to find you.
Tell us the event. We tell you what we measure.
